Workshop One: A Resilient and Intelligent Water Supply
Join this workshop to help identify and plot the route water companies and suppliers need to navigate the smart data promised land of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to achieve automation.
- Where are we now?
We have lots of data stored across multiple systems. How can we use this data efficiently and effectively to break down the barriers to achieving automation?
2. How does smart data support us on the journey?
We have incoming data from flow monitors, pressure loggers and sensors recording water quality, turbidity, chlorine and conductivity. How can we use this data to help prioritise our resources – people and budget; and develop a proactive informed decision-making system?
3. How can we maximise insight through AI and ML?
Let’s discuss the migration from smart data to fully utilising AI and ML. How can we develop confidence and overcome barriers including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), data security, open data, our people and changing mindsets?
We’re looking for long term collaboration partners to address our challenges, join our workshop and tell us about your product or service and what makes it innovative.
Workshop Two: Unpacking Anglian Water’s net-zero ecosystem
Join this workshop to help solve some of the tough questions we are facing around our net-zero ambitions and exploring initiatives we can establish at our Water Recycling (Wastewater) Centres.
- Where are we now?
In July 2021, Anglian Water published our 2030 net zero roadmap. The target covers all our operational activities and our commitment to cut capital carbon by 70%. To achieve our 2030 ambition (and beyond), Anglian Water has acknowledged the valuable role which our existing and potential supply chain will play over the coming 8 years.
2. How will we explore this to create solutions?
We know getting to net zero is going to be a journey, we know the direction but not every twist and turn on the way, so we need you to join us. This workshop will take a deep dive into Anglian Water’s net zero strategy, identify where we have our greatest opportunities to explore and collaborate with our wider innovation supply chain so that we can each meet our respective goals.
3. What does net-zero mean to you?
We will use this time to understand the different perspectives in the room and what net-zero means to all of us. Anglian Water recognises the equally significant role we play in supporting our supply chain in their efforts and journey towards net-zero. To meaningfully tackle climate change our entire supplier ecosystem needs to be symbiotically linked under a shared and common cause.
